Man City Reclaim Top Spot

The fight for the Premier League title has intensified as Manchester City won their match against Everton to reclaim first place on the table. They have seemingly recovered very quickly from their defeat against Chelsea.

Gabriel Jesus scored two goals in the 22nd and 50th minute to give City a strong lead against the Toffees. Although the opposition did get a goal back, the game ended when Sterling scored the third goal for City in the 69th minute.

Tottenham secured third place on the PL table for another week after Eriksen secured a win for the team against Burnley in the dying moments of the match. Every goal is crucial with the competition at the top being so fierce.

Liverpool must now win their derby match against Manchester United if they want to be on top again. However, if United are to lose, their chances of finishing in top four will be even slimmer than they are now. Unfortunately, not everyone can come out on top.
