Last weekend, Watford was defeated by Manchester United 1-2. Depay gave United the lead in the 11th minute. Although Watford converted a penalty in the 87th, Deeney’s work was ruled out when he went on to score an own goal before the final whistle blew. Ouch!
On Wednesday, Manchester United experienced a goalless Champions League match against PSV Eindhoven. They then drew again today. Leicester took the lead in their game against United in the 24th minute. Just before half time, United equalised and the game advanced no further.
Manchester United are third place in the Premier League table. Although only one point seperates them from the top of the table, they still have Leicester, a surprising upcoming team, preventing them from reaching second.
