Arsenal have failed to win this week: drawing midweek, then losing this Saturday. They managed to concede two goals in both matches. Arsenal’s defence has in no doubt been letting them down.
On Wednesday the Gunners lost to Swansea City. They were 1-0 up quite early in the game, but this changed after Routledge and Williams each netted a goal. Arsenal took no points away from the match.
This Staurday Arsenal played their rival, Tottenham. Ramsey gave the Gunners the lead in the match in the 39th minute. However, after the sending off of Coquelin, two goals were netted by the Tottenham side. Luckily, a late goal from Sánchez meant that a ten-man Arsenal escaped defeat.
The Gunners have fallen behind in the title race, quite drastically for that matter. They are eight points below Leicester, who are topping the table at the moment. They are also below Tottenham, but by three points. Is there enough time for Arsenal to catch up?
