Manchester United drew against Crystal Palace. However, this wasn’t just any draw. It was a goalless one. Their goal drought was extended to over five hours!

Possession doesn’t seem to count for much in the football of today. All everyone cares about is what is done with it. United held the most poseesion in their game, but they clearly weren’t productive enough.

Crystal Palace had double the amount of shots at goal and five times as much on target than Manchester United! Palace could have easily taken more points home. What were Manchester United doing? Just holding the ball at their feet, perhaps.

The Reds are still sitting in top four, but they are four points off the lead. They might be doing much better than the Blues are, but they need to keep up with those ahead of them!
