Rising Tensions

Chelsea won their last Premier League match, which gave their fans the hope that they would continue to behave the way a top club should. They would win, for sure. Well, they were soon disappointed. Chelsea lost their match against West Ham.

The Hammers were quick to set up the framework of their win. Zárate gave them the lead in the 17th minute of the match. By now the Blues fans’ were glum. They already knew what the outcome would be. They had to settle for what was given to them, the usual.

This wasn’t the only thing to cause Mourinho to lose his temper. In the first half, the Blues had a goal disallowed. Mourinho and his fiery temper didn’t agree with the ruling out of the goal, of course. But that my friends is why we have goal line technology. To silence rowdy managers. Hush Mourinho, hush.

Spot the manager

Another one of his pet peeves is having a player sent off. Matić received his second yellow card in the 44th minute after a bad foul. The Blues were even bluer! They were going into the second half with ten men and a manager and coach who had been sent to the stands (they didn’t deal with red so well).

In the second half there was a breath of hope. Cahill scored the equaliser to lift the spirits of the fans. This however was deemed insignificant. Carroll headed in a goal in the 79th minute to hammer the last nail into Chelsea’s defeat! Hurrah!

Chelsea are 15th position on the Premier League table. Arsenal have double their points! Alarm bells must be ringing now, but will they respond to it? Mourinho has lost his magic touch this season.
