Liverpool did face a few setbacks in their game against Leicester City, however they made sure to turn the tables around as the game progressed.
Mignolet scored an own goal in the 22nd minute to give Leicester the lead. Surely good results can’t come from a start like that?
Well somehow they did! Lallana netted the equaliser just four minutes later. Phew! Quick save. From this, Gerrard then gave Liverpool the lead in the 54th minute.
As if Leicester was not already facing enough misfortune, Morgan managed to get himself sent off. Henderson then added to the Reds’ goals in the 83rd minute. Just great.
Liverpool are back onto the first half of the Premier League table. That took some work, however it seems as if they’re now ready to put in the work necessary to achieve!
