Manchester United faced Arsenal in a grilling top team rivalry. It was fire vs flames but, of course, only one could win.

Arsenal were pushing Manchester United to the limit in the first half of the match. However, they seemed too eager to get the ball in the net as Gibbs scored an own goal in the 56th minute to give United the lead! Unbelievable! This must have given Manchester United the spark they needed to light up their win. Rooney doubled their lead in the 85th moment.

Manchester United may have claimed their first away win under Van Gaal, however Arsenal did manage to savage some pride. Giroud scored a late (of course it had to be late) goal for Arsenal to make the end result 2-1.

Manchester United have fired themselves up to fourth place! Can this new found confidence boost up their title hopes?
