City Cry

Manchester United faced Queens Park Rangers in terrible conditions. Perhaps the rain was representative of how Manchester City were feeling during and after the match.

Austin scored in the 21st minute, which made up for the goal he scored which was ruled out. QPR were in the lead… Now there’s a surprise!

The next goal was scored by Aguero, who equalised for Man City in the 32nd minute. A sigh of relief swept across the club, but only momentarily. Demichelis scored an own goal in the 76th minute to give QPR the lead once more. Smart move.

Luckily enough, Aguero managed to work his magic once again to give his team a point to go home with. What would they do without him?

Manchester City seem a bit groggy and don’t seem to be waking up to the reality that they need more points to reach top spot. When will Man City clean up their act in order to fulfil their title hopes?

Man Up

Manchester United played against Crystal Palace in the Premier League today. It didn’t begin with all cheers and smiles, but there was a change in fortune later in the game…

The only goal of the match was scored by Mata in the 67th minute after he was taken off the bench. Wow…Manchester United won. Wow…Manchester United kept a clean sheet!

Manchester United had a chubby 72% possession, compared to Crystal Palace’s 28%. It was clear that Man United dominated in some form, nevertheless, Crystal had their fair chance of winning the game.

Manchester United have climbed into the Europa zone on the table. 6th place. Well it’s better than 9th. Hopefully from here, the only place will be up.

Anfield Agony

Liverpool faced Chelsea at home at Anfield. Perhaps the comfort of their home no longer exists because they weren’t able to take advantage of it.

Can put in the first goal of the match in the 9th minute to give Liverpool the lead. However, it only took Cahill five minutes to equalise for the visitors. A draw might have been good for Liverpool considering how the last few games have been, but Diego Costa didn’t quite agree. He scored the winning goal for the Blues in the 67th minute! Bonus for the Blues. Resentment for the Reds.

Liverpool fans are still in awe at the lack of goals from the Liverpool strikers. Mourinho has still not lost a game this season. When will the Reds rise? When will the Blues burn?
