Oscar put in the first goal for a dominant Chelsea in the 32nd minute. This kept the Blues ahead for the rest of the first half. In the second half, Chelsea did not come in as strong and Austin took advantage for QPR in the 62nd minute. Mourinho had himself in quite a pickle. By good fortune, Chelsea were awarded a penalty which Hazard converted. José Mourinho just about got the chance to keep his hair on till the next match.
Eden Hazard has kept up a beautiful record of converting all the eight penalties he has taken in the Premier League. It’s players like that who can keep clubs like Chelsea in the highest order.
