Thriving Under Pressure

Arsenal faced Anderlecht for the Champions League group stages. Wenger’s team seemed to hand in his birthday present almost too late.

It was a calm and collected start to the game, with no goals being scored until the second half. Najar managed to score for Anderlecht in the 71st minute. Late goal equals a win, right? Well the laws of logic was defied today as Gibbs score the equaliser in the 89th minute and Podolski couldn’t help but make it a victory in the 90th! A two minute wonder… The perfect gift for Arsene Wenger’s 65th year of living!

Arsenal are in a comfortable position in group D but they still have Borussia Dortmund ahead. Can their skill and attributes take them through to the next round?
