Liverpool played against Aston Villa at their home, Anfield. It appears as if their win against Tottenham may have blinded them as to how much strengh is needed to win each game.

Agbonlahor scored the one and only goal only nine minutes into the match. Although this was Aston Villa’s only shot at target,  it took them to second place in the table! Liverpool dominated with 75% possession, however, they didnt have the power to convert it into goals. They had 18 shots at goal with only one on target. Blimey! They are most definitely missing Suarez.

Villa have gone home carrying 10 points from four league games- their best tally in 16 years! Liverpool’s new signings couldn’t fill the hole that Suarez left behind. How long will it take them to recover?
