Chelsea took on Stoke City at home today, ending in a 1-0 victory to the home team. Today, was also the birthday of the home team’s manager, Jose Mourinho – who turns 51 today. 

Chelsea have a great history in the FA Cup, winning several times and were also favourites to win today. Chelsea’s starting line-up was impressive, and looked like they could go on to win comfortably. Chelsea’s new signing, Matic, made his debut today and did nothing but impress the fans. Matic was involved in most of the movements and looked at home. 

The home team did not have an outstanding start. Although a free kick outside the box allowed Chelsea’s number 11, Oscar, to find the back of the net. Oscar has had a good start to the season, and has adapted to Jose’s team, allowing him to get that first team lineup position. Chelsea were favourites…
